Anti-racism and Anti-oppression

Racism permeates the world of psychology and our communities through systemic and individual inequality. Other factors interact with race and disability to affect a person’s experience of the world. Dr. Woods is LGBTQIA-affirming and understands the complexities of being marginalized in multiple ways. Dr. Woods is committed to understanding and eliminating racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and other forms of oppression both on an individual and systemic level. Dr. Woods actively seeks to promote more anti-racist and anti-oppressive work and is excited about partnering with others who want to make the world a better place.
